98% Bullshit, 1% skill and 1% pure luck.

My neighbour makes as good a cup of coffee as one’s I’ve paid $6-$7 dollars for, and she says she just “bashes’ them out one after the other, on a relatively cheap machine.

People trying to glorify a job that can be done by a trained monkey if need be.

SWOME PEOPLE DONT KNOW ABOUT THE sanitized. BY TEMPERATURE, SO I SEEMS SOME WRONG OR IF ITS IS PICK THE portafilter FOR THE BASKET CASE
    ITS PROFESIONAL ACTITUD

  • TheLeftHand77 says:

@HUGOCSANCHEZ1 The water temperature required to sanitize both the portafilter and the basket that the barista touched with her fingers need only be between 165ºf-180ºf for mechanical sanitizing and 171ºf for manual sanitizing. Espresso machines extract coffee optimally at a range of 195ºf-205ºf; this is well above the temperature at which the entire portafilter build, including the coffee, is sanitized.

I’m not saying that you a necessarily wrong it’s just that older adults have been younger. Have you been older than 15? Basically what I am saying is that with age comes experience. I thought age didn’t matter when I was younger too. Write to me when you are 25.

  • hayleymaree09 says:

wow, i dont think you can judge a barista by their age. nor the baristas judges. you dont have to be old or in your mid years to know how to make a good cup. you have to remember, the young baristas are sometimes they best as they have recently been trained in coffee making, keeping it fresh in their minds. im a 15 year old learning barista, and i think its wrong of you to judge.

  • 3288833 says:

i don’t think the juges are fair here they do not look like they know a lot about coffee they look junior they do not even know how to make their own coffee. If you want your coffee with a very good taste make it yourself thats the best stupid people!
