Adverisement is the key – from signs to business cards to hanging up flyers around town, get your name out there and people will come. You’ll want to start out talking to your local chamer of commerce though, you need to get your name registered and all your tax info straight before selling or advertising anything. Check out the Small Business Admisitration’s website, I think it www.sba.com or maybe .org

I’m doing a project on hot beverage machine and i’m looking for images and information but i don’t know what its called. you know those machines in shops were you stick a cup under it and then you slot in the token or little box thing that has the tea or coffe in it? Theres no option or anything you put in the stuff yourslef but its sealed inthe token thing…..can’t find anything….

Train layovers


I am in the speck of dirt on the map that actually turns out to be a villiage called Miyaji sitting in my third train of the day.

There will be *consults itinerary* four more trains today before I arrive in Kagoshima.

This 22 minute wait gave me just enough time to snag and eat two sandwiches and drink a small vending machine coffe. Hope that holds me until train six my next decent layover.

Beautiful country here.

I am always wary of home espresso makers. Espresso makers, even the ones that are found in fancy restaurants, are complicated pieces of equipment and can be temperamental. I’ve never worked at a restaurant where the darn thing didn’t act up at least once, probably because everybody used it their own way. Point is, a lot can go wrong.
Also remember that fancy European engineered/styled kitchen equipment is not always superior, in fact sometimes it is a total waste of money. I know from personal experience having used a 0 absolutely beautifully designed Italian toaster available at Williams Sonoma that you’re better off buying a one at Wal-Mart. Search for unbiased reviews of the product on the internet. From sites like epinions to blogs on everything from food, coffee and gadget aficionados, you are bound to find someone to give you the straight scoop on the machine you’re interested in buying.
Also, when you buy something on e-bay there is absolutely no guarantee that it will be in working order, even if the seller says that it is. Even if it is a great machine, you could be throwing your money away buying a product that you cannot be sure is in operating order.
I would simply research home espresso makers on the internet. Often in the world of appliances, there are good buys.
Also, it might not hurt to try to make double-strength coffee for your iced coffee, as it gets diluted with the addition of ice and milk, etc. I might try experimenting with that before investing in new equipment.
