Id get like a paper towel Dip it in the coffee and then dab it on the Paper, that way you get a more controlled look :) Just make sure the paper towels not to wet or it will look all blotchy !

Make sure the coffees not really hot before you go putting your fingers in it too ! good luck :)

    You don’t.
Soak a tea bag and rub it over the paper. let the paper dry.. then cut around the edges. you can burn the edges too if you want that really old look.

    i wouldnt even use coffee.

use a lighter or a match fray the edges and hold it up to the paper with out letting it burn. i used to use that method on all of my middle school projects. My teachers loved it! good luck

well when i used to to projects like that i would take a tea bag and let it sit in a plastic container the size of a sheet of paper. then i would take my paper, crumple it, and place it in the container for awhile. idk for how long but long enough so that the ink didn’t bleed. then you take the paper and let it out to dry. it ends up looking like the declaration of independence. like an old piece of paper. do some test tries to make sure you can get the right effect

I’ve done it with tea, but I guess coffee would work, too. Dip a rag into brewed, cooled coffee, and wipe it onto the paper. Put just a little at a time, try not to soak the paper. Let it dry, then use the paper. I wouldn’t do it on paper you’ve already written or printed on because it might smear the writing/print.

u KNOW THOSE DISHWASHING PANS OR SOMETHING? U WILL THT LIKE A CM WITH COFFEE AND THEN U CAN SOAK A REGULAR 8 1/2 X 11 SHEET OF PAPER IN IT FOR ABOUT AN HR OR SO, THEN LET IT DRY FOR EXTRA EFFECT U CAN SINGE THE EDGES,

Crumble up the paper and soak it in coffee for a few minutes then let it dry.

My sister used tea for hers. She brewed it then crumpled the paper and put it in the tea. Then she had it sit for a while until she had it the color she wanted it. Then pour the tea out and undo the paper carefully. I guess you could do that with coffee also.

Just lay your paper in a pan and weight it down with something. You will have to move the somethings a couple times so that everywhere gets stained. Wait over night and probably some more depending on how dark you want it and it should look great! You could also use tea so that it doesn’t look as dark.

I’ve also heard soy or Worcestershire sauce works well too.

    Good Luck!

What i do is have the Coffee in a cup/mug something to keep it in (obviously) and then you need to just dip your hand in (careful may be hot!) and sprinkle the coffee around all over but try not to do too much. Once I put too much and it got through the paper. It looks best when not a straight dark brown but with a touch of creamer. I did a invite to a party and did the coffee thing and then burnt the edges slightly! It was for a pirate party. Idk what you’re using it for but whatever way you would like! I really hope i helped!!!! Good luck and great idea it turns out really nice!
