You can use espresso coffee in it, and it will certainly be stronger than regular coffee, but it won’t be espresso. Espresso has to be steam brewed and will be much stronger than something a Mr. Coffee can make.

You can buy a really cheap stove-top espresso brewer:

No. What you have will not make espresso. You can put more coffee grounds in it and brew it to make a stronger coffee, but it isn’t the same.

It is not the same thing to make “espresso” in a coffee pot. I like my coffee on the strong side so I use espresso beans but it is still only coffee. I also have a cheap espresso maker that I bought at Target for $8 and it does the trick.?%5Fencoding=UTF8&frombrowse=0

There are plenty of combo machines that can make espresso and lattes as well as coffee. They are not too expensive, take a look at – it has a list of good machines.
