Home Espresso Machines?
Chelsea G аѕkеd:
Aѕ a college student, thе daily trips tο Starbucks аrе breaking mу bank. I wουld lіkе tο рυrсhаѕе аn espresso machine fοr myself. I wουld prefer tο spend under $100. I know thаt thіѕ won’t allow mе tο gеt thе best quality, bυt іt’s thе mοѕt I аm аblе tο spend. I really οnlу need tο bе аblе tο steam thе milk аnd produce 1-2 shots οf espresso аt a time. If anyone hаѕ аn espresso machine thаt thеу lονе/hаtе, I wουld greatly appreciate аnу recommendations οr advice. Thank уου.

It will save you money in the long run but just so ya know they are hard to keep clean & its a pain in the **** to make the drinks. LOL But I have one & I use it every now & then. Go to walmart or target they will have them cheap
There are two recommendations I’d like to contribute:
- Senseo is a great product. We love ours and the coffee tastes great. You can also make great tea. We love the Starbucks Chai tea that comes in the little pods. And the Cappuccino pods taste great as well.
- A real italian espresso maker for under $30: Bialetti Moka Express Stovetop Espresso Makers. They work great, they are real, and authentic. We bought ours in Italy and used them for years.
Any espresso machine for $100 won’t be any good, but you can make good espresso cheap.
First get a stove-top Moka pot:
I don’t like the aluminum ones as the jury is still out on the link between aluminum & Alzheimer’s & coffee is acidic (last thing that should be in aluminum).
If you want cappuccino more than espresso, here’s an all-in-one:
If you don’t have a stove (dorm) or hot plate, you can get an electric moka pot:
If you have a stove, you can easily froth milk with a pan and a whisk (I do it all the time for large groups. Frothing milk is also possible with a french press (makes some of the best coffee & useful for tea as well), just put in cold milk & plunge repeatedly.
