Yes, but you’ll have to cut back a bit on the liquid called for in the recipe…..you might want to get some espresso powder, available in the grocery store where they instant coffee is……a small jar will last you quite a long time…..If you have an Italian grocery/deli near you, you might want to ring them and see if they carry it…..and it DOES make a difference in the outcome of the recipe….Enjoy!!
i am sure that you could, just adjust the liquids accordingly. nothing beats fresh espresso
…the brew is liquid and the instant powder is a solid this presents a problem
you need to sub a solid for a solid or a liquid for a liquid
you can sub the instant powder for espresso grounds it will give a different texture and the flavor won’t be as well distributed
or you can use the espresso brew and add flour to make up for the wet you are adding

yes, but adjust the liquid in the recipe. Ex: if it calls for 1 – 1/2 c water, use 1/2 c espresso and 1 c water. Or even all espresso if you want.
I nevr put instant anything in anything. You should always use fresh ingrediants.
