Alison Benjamin asked:

The revolutionary stainless steel Gaggia Platinum Swing Super Auto espresso machine is amongst the top-of-the-line home espresso makers. Gaggia is definitely a well known brand within the coffee machine industry and you may be assured that their machines are advanced technology.

The Gaggia Platinum Swing Auto supplies a extensive variety of features in its smooth and appealing style. The appliance is operated by a digital LCD display which presents information for the current settings and contains menus for feature settings. In addition, it comes with a clock and timer functionality too.

Gaggia has become known for its rapid steam boilers that are among the quickest in the marketplace. This will guarantee a fast cup of cappuccino or espresso when you need that first shot of coffee on waking. Moreover the wait period in between extracting coffee and frothing milk can be dramatically decreased to just a couple of seconds with the rapid steam boiler.

Among the list of additional features included in the Gaggia Platinum Swing Up Auto espresso maker is the electronic drip tray. This drip tray easily adjusts to allow for any size cup and is removable for easy cleaning. The drip tray also features a cup warmer that can easily be activated and deactivated via the LCD screen. The Gaggia Platinum Swing Auto also includes an adjustable espresso strength dial right on the front. This makes it super easy to regulate the strength of your espresso whenever they want. It’s also possible to adjust the fineness of the ceramic grinder to obtain the ideal cup of coffee.

Espresso Coffee At The Touch Of A Button

The Gaggia Platinum Swing Super Auto provides the latest in integrated bean-to-brew electronics. This means that you simply fill the hopper using your preferred coffee beans; the beans are ground and the coffee is then extracted auto-magically in to the cup. The used coffee grounds are automatically removed from the brewing head and stored inside the machine in a compartment that simply needs to be emptied out at the end of the day or when full.

This retains the freshness of your beans because the machine only grinds the quantity of beans needed for each cup. If you want to utilize pre-ground coffee that’s always an alternative as well. This particular model of Gaggia holds 8.8 oz of beans in the hopper.

This particular model also contains the Aqua Prima water filter. This filter will make sure that every cup of coffee provides the greatest flavor regardless of how hard the water is that you use in it. There’s even a menu selection for adjusting the filtration for extremely hard water. The stainless steel water reservoir will hold 57oz of water at any given time. Two adjustable spouts allow you to produce two cups of coffee simultaneously.

If you would rather not froth the milk yourself then a Milk Island automatic frother could be added to froth your milk for a cappuccino or latte in no time. This extra system is a milk container that may be added to the side of the machine. It includes it’s own holder and milk frothing/steaming options can be managed by way of the LCD screen.

The Gaggia Platinum Swing Auto will make a great addition for your kitchen or home office. It’s got all the high-end features of some of the most expensive Gaggia machines while nevertheless remaining competitively priced. This espresso machine can also save you a lot of money on buying coffee shop espresso as well as being so much more convenient!

Edward Smith asked:

The aroma of coffee is famous all around the world. Since the ninth century there has been a massive and gradual increase in the consumption of coffee. Coffee was consumed in different regions and countries in different ways. By recent times coffee making has gone through several changes. Initially there were some traditional methods of coffee making and those were unhygienic. Later on coffee lost its fame due to improper and unscientific methods of coffee making. Even till recently there are no standard procedures for coffee making. Different regions have different ways of making coffee, some still don’t use coffee machines but still they make sure to get the best results in coffee taste and quality.

Today we have many types of coffee machines available in the market. The buyer must choose the machine while keeping in mind the expectations and requirements of the consumers. The drip coffee machine is the most commonly used one. It can produce a fresh brewed coffee in around ten minutes.

A modern coffee machine comes with many advance options. They have a programmable timer which can help in making different type of coffees. These machines support other functions as well for example pause and serve facility, control of temperature, brew strength etc. Most of the modern coffee machines are pod machines. Such machine manufacturers provide pods or capsules. And user of the machine is dependent on the quality of the pods or capsules provided by the manufacturers.

When it comes to UK and continental countries, cappuccino and espresso are the most popular. There is a bean grinding mechanism in these machines. After going through the grinding procedure these coffee beans are transmitted to brewing chamber. In this way freshness of the coffee is ensured.

There are various types of modern machines available in the markets. All of them come with different and innovative functions. Completely automatic machine is preferred by most of the users because of its ease in use. Single cup coffee machines are good for individuals who like great taste in coffee. Similarly there are some machines which provide both hot and cold coffee. It depends on the taste of the buyer that which one he prefers.

The manufacturers of Bialetti Brikka Espresso machine are well known in market. They are making home appliances for the past 65 year. Similarly Keurig is also one of the famous machine makers and they created a single cup coffee machine which could make the drink ready in a few seconds.

Melanie Couston asked:

Looking for a coffee maker? Get ready to be surprised. You will find more designs of coffee machines than you bargained for. In addition, you will also find that coffee machines use different brewing principles.

The earliest machines were coffee percolators, which were developed because the vacuum principle of making coffee was a bit too cumbersome for home use. The present day electric coffee percolators are based on the same principle as the one developed and patented in late 19th century.

The commonly used method in modern machines is automatic drip-brew. Coffee grounds are placed in a filter (paper or metal) in a funnel. There is a separate chamber for cold water, which is boiled and directed into the funnel. Electric drip force cold water from a reservoir through a flexible hose into a tube-like heating chamber made of aluminum. Most machines use pressure induced by heating to siphon heated water through a spray into the chamber containing ground coffee.

There are also coffee machines with a different type of automatic drip brewing mechanism. These machines use the water displacement method. This is a fast way of preparing a cup of coffee and more suited for offices and restaurants.

Coffee machines are primarily a method of preparing coffee from coffee beans. They may use different techniques but the most important part of turning beans into a delectable beverage is still the selection of the raw material, beans. Regardless of automatic or manual machines, the basic steps are the same and involve grounding of beans, brewing and then separation of used grounds.

Conrad Murphy asked:

What if someone told you that they had a coffee machine that could grind whole beans for your coffee drinks on demand? While you might think they had lost their mind, the fact is that there are a series of machines known as bean to cup coffee machines that do just that. Before getting too excited, however, it’s important to understand what these machines do and don’t do. Like most coffee makers, this type isn’t for everyone, though it does have its strengths. The following article will dispel the myths regarding these unique and cutting edge coffee machines.

If you’re under the impression that one of these machines can transform the quality of your coffee into something much better than you’ve come to expect then you may be in for a disappointment. The truth is that great coffee is a result of using freshly roasted beans, good quality water and the proper grind. The fact that these machines grind the beans just prior to brewing is a great thing, though that’s only part of the equation. The unfortunate fact about most of these small coffee pots is that they incorporate a blade-style grinder, which doesn’t do the beans any justice. What a blade grinder does do is pulverize the coffee beans into an array of differently sized particles, much of them dust. Have you ever had the unfortunate experience of tasting a bitter cup of coffee? If you have then it was likely the result of over-extraction; a process that occurs as a result of either using boiling hot water for brewing or by using finely ground coffee. Apart from this fact, it’s also important to note that these machines won’t produce the results that they otherwise could if you were to use freshly roasted coffee beans.

Of course, there is a bright side to these machines. If you’re looking for a machine that will make your life a bit easier than a bean to cup coffee machine certainly fits the profile. Not having to fill the machine each time with whole beans can be helpful, particularly if you’re looking to brew multiple beverages over a short period of time. This could be especially advantageous for use in a small cafe or restaurant, where having to refill the machine would become laborious and unnecessary. Also, as previously mentioned, having a machine that grinds the beans just prior to use is a benefit, since beans lose much of their flavor and aroma once they’ve been ground.

Zach Smith asked:

Starbucks is arguably the most famous cafe in the world. They are best known for the flavourful blend of coffee they make. Many people have been trying to imitate the taste of the coffee they are brewing but failed.

What is special about their coffee anyway? Do they really use special kinds of brewing gears to produce that great result?

The answer is, no they do not. What they are using are random commercial coffee and espresso machines. However, they have taken careful considerations on what features should be incorporated in the coffee machines they are buying. This is because they value the efficiency of their machines.

The flavour is in the whole mechanism of the coffee machine and also the barista. We know for a fact that espresso is a tricky beverage to make in the first place. It takes careful mixing and producing of the cream and careful timing to produce a smooth and flavourful result.

You can actually copy the taste in order to save yourself the additional expense of going to Starbucks everyday. Go look for an ideal coffee maker first. The market is pretty much replete with all sorts of brewers. It is advisable to get your own coffee machine and your own grinder. Nothing beats freshly ground coffee immediately brewed to perfection.

If you are looking for an espresso machine, you should consider how efficiently it really makes espresso. You might want to look for a machine assimilated with at least 9 bars of pressure as this will produce really smooth coffee and crema.

Make sure you also purchase the pump driven brewers. This type of machine is used by other cafes. You can check out Williams Sonoma as they also sell fully automatic machines.

You should also consider the brand of coffee beans you are buying. Starbucks made it easier for us to copy the flavour of the coffee they are brewing with their line of coffee grounds. The caveat is, they are generally more expensive than other gourmet coffee sold in the market. However, if you are using one cup coffee machines, this is a better choice.

Some machines allow you to tweak its settings. You can experiment a little with the amount of ground beans you are putting and the right machine strength. You should also purchase those machines with shower head as this extracts more flavour than those with none.
