Arman Panji asked:

Getting the best cup of coffee sometimes not as simple as it look. You need the best coffee beans/grounds you can get and also the best coffee maker. Finding the right coffee beans is simple, you just need to taste different types of them until you find the one yo like best. Of course this will differ from one person to another and the same thing about finding the right coffee maker. It all depends on your budget and also your personal lifestyle.

Simplicity

If you enjoy truly rich coffee taste there is no need to buy a super duper fancy coffee machine that will cost you hundreds and even thousands of dollars. A simple Frech press will do just fine most of the time. This coffee machine is simply a glass jar equipped with a plunger. For some coffee enthusiasts this is considered the best coffee maker ever made…

To start brewing your cup of coffee all you got to do is place your preferred coffee grounds into the jar and then put some hot water in it. Boiling hot is better. Press the plunger and let it brew for a whole 4 minutes and voila you just get yourself the tastiest cup of coffee. For those of you who prefer strong coffee this coffee maker is the one for you since it produces a more concentrated coffee flavor. Best thing is the price won’t burn a hole in your pocket so you could use your savings to buy gourmet coffee beans instead.

Not Among The Average …

Another known type of coffee machine is the coffee drip machine. It is so commonly found in coffee pantries, kitchen, mini bar all around the globe people tend to think it’s the best kind. Actually it’s not the best but it does able to brew a good cup of coffee.

Not all drip machine models produce the same quality cup. Some more expensive ones allow you to set the temperature of hot water and how much of them to brew the coffee. However this type won’t be good for a long time if you need to continously serve cups of coffee. That is beause the machine keep carafe heated and thus affect the coffee flavor. No surprise that the last few cups coming from drip machine usually taste bad.

Dean Forster asked:

Espresso coffee is a highly popuar choice of beverage for the large majority of us. This is partly because it contains caffeine which fires up our brain every morning. Many people also make coffee at home as one of the first things they do when they get up.

Consumers into coffee will concur that a coffee espresso machine is a piece of equipment that will make a top quality cup of espresso. However, quite a few of these people don’t actually own a home espresso machine which is quite surprising really. There are a number of different fundamental types of espresso machine, ranging from fully automatic right through to manual machines.

Semi Automatic Espresso Machine

A semi automatic espresso machine is ideal for use in the home. It produces a single cup of coffee each time and you choose the level of coffee grounds that go into each cup, so you have control over how strong each cup of coffee you are making is.

Fully Automatic Espresso Machine

If you are making a lot of cups of coffee on a daily basis, you might look to buy something faster. Something like a fully automatic espresso machine will do the job perfectly. Simply pour the espresso coffee beans in and then press a button to produce the cup of coffee as and when required.

Traditional Espresso Stovetop Machine

A traditional way to make espresso coffee is to use a stovetop home machine with a pot that has compartments. You put water into the bottom compartment and coffee into the upper compartment. Once the water reaches boiling point, steam rises up into the coffee. You can find out more about espresso coffee at http://www.bestespressocoffeemachines.com

Conclusion

As you can see, there are a large typpe of home espresso machine on the market. All you need to do is choose the one type that best suits your needs. Also it is worth considering how much space you have available in your kitchen prior to purchase. It’s worth taking some time to consider what home espresso machine to buy as it is something you will probably use every day.

Jennifer Harris asked:

Espressos are great, but you aren’t really enjoying good espressos if they aren’t in proper espresso cups. Also called demitasse cups, these tiny little mugs look as though they belong a Barbie Dreamhouse. Surprisingly, there’s a certain art to making a proper espresso, and when you go shopping for a new set there are some things that you may want to consider.

First of all, the cups are traditionally made out of porcelain. Typically, each cup has room for two or three ounces of beverage. Depending on whether or not you prefer a cream cap or sugar in your espresso, you may want to get slightly larger cups.

From old world Italy straight to your kitchen counter, porcelain cups can be plain or intricate, expensive or fairly affordable. If you’re a serious espresso drinker, you may want to consider investing in a designer set of cups a saucers.

While there is a lot that can be said for an old world, traditional style of cups, modern technology has its benefits as well. For example, there are many modern designs available on the market that feature double walled insulated glass. These cups keep your espresso hotter longer than their porcelain counterparts.

Whether you prefer traditional or new age modern technology, when you look for a set of cups you should keep your eye on quality. True drinkers know that even the best cup of espresso won’t be great unless it’s in an equally quality cup. If it’s thin, not only is the cup prone to chipping (in which case you should immediately throw out the cup), but it also allows the heat to seep out. Nobody likes lukewarm espresso.

In terms of pricing, cups pretty much run the gamut. You can find a fairly affordable (and decent) set for $35, but you can also easily blow a couple hundred dollars, too.

Wesley Johnson asked:

If you’re a beginner espresso machine buyer, chances are you’re intimidated by all the bells and whistles on modern-day versions. With entry-level machines extending in price from $150 to $1000 and high-end variations soaring into the $10,000 plus price point, the range is huge.

However, all home espresso machines will essentially fall into one of four categories – pump machines, lever or piston machines, steam machines and moka pots.

For a breakdown of each of these espresso machine styles and tips on how to choose the best one for you, keep reading.

Espresso Pump Machines

A pump machine uses an automatic pump to create the perfect amount of water pressure. This style of espresso maker can be both large and expensive. But, if you have the counter space and the money, it may be worth it.

Most commercial options are automatic pumps, meaning you’re more likely to get a quality cup of coffee that matches your “store-bought-taste” expectations with this type of machine.

Lever or Piston Machines

A piston or lever espresso machine uses a manual or human-powered pump to create the pressure it needs to make espresso. It’s quiet and low maintenance, but it can take a lot of brute strength and endurance to make a quality cup of espresso coffee.

Because the lever or piston machine depends on human power to get its pressure, the quality of your espresso can vary exponentially depending on who is doing the pumping.

Steam Powered Machines

Steam powered espresso makers tend to be the cheapest, but they also can be the worst quality. The machine works by heating water and using steam power to create the pressure needed, however it’s often not powerful enough to make a truly great espresso coffee.

The main selling points of steam machines are their price, small size, sleek design and how easy they are to use.

Moka Pot Espresso Maker

The moka pot is a simple, stove-top espresso coffee maker that costs less than powered options and offers a very traditional taste. It works by boiling water in the bottom of the pot, creating steam and then forcing that steam through the coffee and into the top portion of the pot.

The pressure often isn’t as powerful as a hand or pump machine, but overall, the pot is simple to use and can create a great cup of Saturday coffee.

If you love espresso coffee, you will find that one of these home coffee makers will satisfy your taste.
