If it is plugged in, the switch is thrown, and it doesn’t work, the heating coil has died…pitch the unit and buy a new one. Truthfully, a cheap coffee maker does the same job…just put tea bags in where the coffee goes…perfect tea. Goldwing
if its over a couple years old then its time to get a new one. Most of the time the heating coil will go bad and it will coast a lot more to fix then to just buy a new one. if its under a couple mo’s you can try to take it back but even then its a lot of money for something that is cheap to repair.

buy a new one! That would be easiest, you don’t have to deal with all the complicated instructions, and possibly break it completely in the process.
